Questions people actually ask us.
In plain English — warranty, condition grades, delivery, payment. If yours isn’t here, call or text and a human answers.
What’s the difference between the 1-year warranty and the 2-week DOA guarantee?
They’re two separate protections, and every unit comes with both. The 2-week DOA guarantee covers your first 14 days: dead on arrival means replacement or refund. The 1-year warranty covers the full year from purchase — issued by Discount Appliance Deals, not the manufacturer. If something breaks, we fix it or replace it.
Is “scratch and dent” actually damaged? Does it work?
Cosmetic only — a scuff, ding, or dent, usually on a side panel that ends up hidden against a wall or cabinet. Mechanically these are fully tested, working machines, and the 1-year warranty covers them either way.
What do “Open Box,” “Like New,” and “Scratch & Dent” mean?
Open box = opened or returned, unused or barely used. Scratch & dent = a working unit with a cosmetic blemish. Like new = display or lightly handled with no visible wear. Same 1-year warranty on all of them.
Do you deliver? How much does delivery cost?
Yes — $150 per stop, anywhere in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Pickup at either location is always free.
Where are you located, and when are you open?
San Fernando warehouse: 709 Arroyo St, Ste A, San Fernando, CA 91340 — open 7 days, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM — (747) 310-2092. Camarillo showroom: 596 Mobil Ave, Ste C, Camarillo, CA 93010 — open 7 days, 9:30 AM–5:00 PM — (747) 310-2093.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, debit, major credit cards, Zelle, and financing available.
Are these appliances new or used?
New, open box, and scratch & dent brand-name units. We don’t sell rebuilt or refurbished machines.
Can I see it running before I buy?
Yes — every unit is tested and run through a full cycle before it’s on the floor. Come see it running in person at either location before you decide.
What brands do you carry, and how often does new stock arrive?
LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, Bosch, Electrolux, and Hisense. New inventory arrives every Tuesday and Friday.
Can you hold an appliance for me?
Yes — call ahead and we’ll hold your unit while you’re on the way. The best units move fast, so call before you drive.
